Initially, the coffee plantation was limited to Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu, but now it has gradually reached Andhra and Orissa. To talk about the growth of Indian coffee is mainly to mention its diverse climate condition, suitable for cultivation of different varieties of coffee. Arabic as, a mild quality coffee grows tremendously in the high elevation regions of the country whereas Robusta needs humid condition to cultivate.

Day 01 Arrive in Bangalore
Meet & greet on arrival by our airport representative who will escort you to your hotel in a chauffeur driven air-conditioned vehicle. On arrival at the hotel, check in to your rooms.
Day 02 Bangalore - Kabini (240 Kms / approx 5 hrs)
AM: drive to Nagerhole. Nestled in the southern fringes of the Nagarhole National Park, the Kabini River Lodge is a perfect getaway for nature lovers. The breathtaking locale with the tranquil backwaters of the River Kabini presents an ideal setting for a long-awaited vacation. Once the hunting lodge of the erstwhile Maharaja of Mysore, Kabini River Lodge is today rated by the British Tatler's Travel Guide as one of the top 5 wildlife resorts in the world. Kabini is pure elephant country as one can see numerous herds at a time. On arrival check into hotel. Approx timings: 1200 pm - Check in at noon. 1330 - 1430 - Lunch at resort 1600 hrs - Gear up for a ride into the Park with tea/ coffee served at the Gol Ghar 1630 - 1900 hrs - Our naturalists take you on a wildlife jeep safari into the Nagarhole National Park, showing & sharing with you their experiences and information about the jungle and all the animals that live there. 1945 hrs - Watch a wildlife movie as you gulp beer at the Viceroy's building. 2030 - 2200 hrs - Bask in the warmth of the campfire, while you dine in the Gol Ghar,
Day 03 Kabini - Mysore (90 Kms / approx 2 hrs)
AM: 0600 - 0630 hrs - Tea / coffee will be served 0700 - 0930 hrs - Cruise through the serene backwaters of the Kabini River on a motor boat viewing sleepy crocodiles and chirpy birds, intent on their morning catch. View a variety of wildlife, especially the elephants, coming to the river for bath or a drink. Alternatively, you can go on a jeep safari to sight the animals, and have a ride on the elephant in the jungle, which means you can have the boat ride the evening before. Later drive to Mysore . PM: on arrival check into hotel. Remainder of the afternoon will be at leisure.
Day 04 Mysore
AM: visit famous "Palace of Mysore " which was once the residential of Wodeyars and is one of the largest of its kind in India. Built in 1912 in the indo Saracenic style, this palace exudes a grandeur that is unmatched. Continue to the bull temple (a 4.8mts monolith) on the middle of hill on the way to Chamundi temple Culminate the tour to visit the "Chamumdi Hill Temple " at a height of 1062mts. The 2000-year-old temple is dedicated to Goddess Chamundi. A seven storey, 40mts high tower, dominates the temple. View of entire Mysore city from this hilltop is breath taking. PM: at leisure.
Day 05 Mysore - Chikmangalur (146 Kms / approx 4 hrs)
AM: drive to Chikmangalur. En-route, visit Belur and Halebid temples. Belur is famous for Hoyasala architecture temples and the best example is Channekeshava Temple. The particularity of this temple is, that the angled bracket figures depicting women in ritual dancing poses. Halebid - the ancient capital of the Hoysalas, which is famous for its Hoysaleswara Temple. This particular temple represents one of the most artistically exuberant periods of Hindu cultural development. The Hoyasala temples in Belur and Halebid symbolize the confluence of Dravidian, Chalukyan and Chola art at the same time. Later drive to Chikmangalur.
Day 06 Chikmangalur
AM: enjoy a guided tour of Coffee plantation. Learn first hand the difference between an Arabica and Robusta, discover how the Malabar blend got 'monsooned', and explore the spice scented pathways to slip into the spirit of the local environment. History of Coffee:  According to a coffee history legend, an Arabian shepherd named Kaldi found his goats dancing joyously around a dark green leafed shrub with bright red cherries in the southern tip of the Arabian Peninsula. Kaldi soon determined that it was the bright red cherries on the shrub that were causing the peculiar euphoria and after trying the cherries himself, he learned of their powerful effect. The stimulating effect was then exploited by monks at a local monastery to stay awake during extended hours of prayer and distributed to other monasteries around the world. Coffee was born. PM: At leisure
Day 07 Chikmangalur
Day at leisure for independent activities, enjoy the facilities at the hotel.
Day 08 Chikmangalur - Bangalore (200 Kms / approx 4 hrs 30 min)
AM: transfer to Bangalore. PM: on arrival, transfer to hotel and check in to your hotel where rooms will be available till your departure.
Day 09 Depart Bangalore
Transfer to international airport for your flight to onward destination.
